Market Analysis (Market Analysis) is a powerful AI engine that monitors major retailers and marketplaces to provide you with up-to-date pricing, stock status, and competitor data. By identifying where your products are sold and at what price, you can make informed decisions about your pricing strategy and market positioning.

How to use Market Analysis

1. Start a Market Analysis

You can trigger a Market Analysis analysis from multiple places in the platform:

From Products List:

  1. Click the ⋮ (three dots) menu on any product row.
  2. Select Analyze Marketplace.
  3. Choose your AI model (Normal, Pro, Ultra).
  4. Click Start Analysis.

From Product Detail Page:

  1. Open any product and click the Market Analysis tab.
  2. If no data exists, click the Start Market Analysis button in the empty state.
  3. If data already exists and you want a fresh update, click the Analyze Marketplace button in the header.

Bulk Analysis:

  1. Select multiple products using the checkboxes in the product table.
  2. Click the Analyze Marketplace button in the bulk actions toolbar.
  3. Configure your assessment and start the batch job.

2. Monitoring Progress

  • A progress notification will appear in the corner of your screen.
  • You can track the status of all active analysis jobs in Job History → Market Analysis Jobs.
  • Large batches are processed in the background, allowing you to continue working.

3. Reviewing Results

Once an analysis is complete, results are displayed in the Market Analysis tab of the product detail page:

  • Competitor List: A grid of cards showing each retailer found.
  • Pricing Data: Current price, original price, and currency for each source.
  • Availability: Real-time stock status (In Stock/Out of Stock).
  • Direct Links: Click any competitor card to visit the original product page.
  • Verification: AI-powered confidence scores ensure results match your specific product.

Analysis History

Each product maintains a complete history of its marketplace data. Scroll to the Market Analysis History section on the product detail page to:

  • View past analysis runs and their results.
  • See which AI model was used for each run.
  • Compare how pricing and availability have changed over time.

Best Practices

  • Model Choice: Use the Normal model for quick updates. Upgrade to Pro or Ultra for deeper searches across more obscure retailers.
  • Regular Updates: Markets change quickly. Run a fresh analysis weekly or during sales events to stay competitive.
  • Data Enrichment: Ensure your product has a clear name, SKU, and Brand before running Market Analysis to improve search accuracy.
